Team Member’s

SEVA is young and its members have experience across a wide range of disciplines. The 17 individuals are from disaster management, social work, liberal arts, commerce, urban planning, Rural development, business, and engineering, architecture, accounting, and finance disciplines.

Our Management Team

Adv. Ashok Pawar

Founder President and CEO (LLB, LLM, MSW, MBA)
Ashok Pawar is Founder and Chief Executive of SEVA. He started work on the issue of Disaster Management and Financial Literacy Trainings in 2008 and has grown the team from 2 to 65 professionals. He also mobilized over 1,70,000 USD (over INR 1 cr) for working on Disaster Management. Ashok is a graduate in BA and in Law, post graduate in Social Work, Human Rights and pursuing PGPDM from SP Jain Institute Mumbai. Coming from a Farmer’s family He is an entrepreneur, having invested considerable time in setting up his livelihood and managing a number of part time work for education and set up social projects for community. However, Ashok has spent most of his professional career working in social change and development. He has spent over 6000 hours working in the voluntary sector, mainly investing his time, expertise and resources with National and International NGO’s in New Delhi, India before starting SEVA. Ashok is a Director on the Board of Mitra Sanghatan and plays an advisory role on their strategies and programs. Ashok has been awarded the Human Right Champion Award 2015 & 2016 which recognizes exemplary work done by Human Rights and social entrepreneurs. Ashok also awarded International fellow in 5th Asia Specific Conference on Sexual Reproductive & Rights in Beijing China, on the dated of 17th to 20th Oct 2009.Youth for Development (YFD) 6-month internship program in rural Odisha India Program run by PRAVAH New Delhi collaboration with VSO UK Jun 2007.He is also UnltdIndia Fellow- 2012 Mumbai, Delegates in International Youth Conference, Colombo Sri Lanka Sept 2014. Youth for Human Right India State Coordinator for Maharashtra from 2016. Ashok also resource person from 2016 for SEBI, IICA, NCFE for organizing Financial inclusion Workshops. & Consultant for Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation in thane district.

Mr. Rameshwar Bhale

Program Manager (BA, MSW)

He has more than one decade of experience in Child Protection, Child Education, Child Health, and Migrant Workers issues, he started his career as a field volunteer in 2011. He has experience in conducting training on the JJ Act 2015, Child Rights, and POCSO Act 2012, Safe Touch, and Unsafe Touch. He closely works with government-allied systems like the Government Railway police, Railway protection force, Railways, Women and Child Devolvement department, Labour department, Child Welfare Committee Etc. Also, he handling teamwork and management since 2017.

Mrs. Shaila Beldar

Program Manager-Parbhani (BCA, MBA(HR), PhD scholar)

She has a experience in Women’s Empowerment, coupled with significant tenure as a Project Coordinator at NIWAS a & Swayam Shikahan Sanstha. With expertise in project coordination, teamwork, and management, she has effectively led initiatives aimed at empowering women. At NIWAS and Swayam Shikahan Sanstha, she played pivotal roles in project management, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

Adv. Sanjivani Jadhav

Advocate (BA, LLB, diplomas in Folk Arts and Journalism & Mass Communication)

Her experience extends to a role as the Mumbai Zonal Representative at Sakal Papers Ltd., where she coordinated educational initiatives, organized events, and facilitated special articles in the “Sakal N.I.E. Edition.” She also served as a “Reporter” at  News/Political Photo, covering legal news for Doordarshan, and freelanced for Saptahik Chitralekha, contributing articles on women empowerment. Currently serving as a “Lawyer on POCSO victim cases, Sanjivani is dedicated to making a positive impact through her legal expertise.

Mr. Vaibhav Gaikwad

Project Coordinator (BMM, MSW)
He has eight years of experience in counseling, Child Protection, and Child Education. Also, he closely worked with the Railway department when he was working with Childline. Vaibhav also worked in a de-addiction centre as a counselor and made children’s futures bright. He is involved in many social activities at the local level.

Ms. Nikita Tamhankar

Support Person (BA)

She has two years of experience in handling POCSO cases as a support person. And now she is closely working with Child sexual abuse victims and giving them social physio support.

Ms. Mayuri Shinde

Community Social Worker (BA, MSW)
She has 11 years of experience in Women empowerment and child Protection. Now she is working as a Community social worker in the Thane district and closely working with ZP schools, the Grampanchyat office, Asha workers, and other government stakeholders and implementing work at the grass route level.

Ms. Dipali Pawar

She has 11 years of experience in Women’s empowerment. Now she is working as a Community social worker in the Thane district and closely working with ZP schools, the Grampanchyat office, Asha workers, and other government stakeholders and implementing work at the grass route level.

Ms. Surekha Vishe

Community Social Worker (BA)
She has two years’ experience in child protection and now she is taking sessions on Child marriage at school level in the thane district.

She has 10 years’ experience in Women’s empowerment and child protection and now she is taking sessions on Child marriage at the school level in the thane district.

Accountant cum Admin (B-com)

She has experience in accounting analysis And a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting software and tools.
