SEVA implemented the Anemia-Free Village Initiative as a community-based health and nutrition programme to address anemia among vulnerable populations, particularly women, adolescent girls and children.
The initiative was implemented across five villages and focused on improving awareness, promoting early identification and encouraging better nutrition and health practices
Through a combination of screening, awareness and community participation, the initiative helped strengthen understanding of anemia and the importance of nutrition and early intervention.
The Anemia-Free Village Initiative reflects SEVA’s commitment to preventive healthcare and healthier communities by bringing essential health awareness and support closer to those who need it most.
SEVA’s projects protect children, empower girls and women, improve access to healthcare and education, strengthen preparedness, support vulnerable families and build cleaner, healthier communities.
