Child Care and Protection
We work to ensure timely protection, coordinated response, legal support, psychosocial care and rehabilitation for children in vulnerable situations. Our approach brings together children, families, communities, law enforcement agencies, Child Welfare Committees (CWC), District Child Protection Units (DCPU) and other stakeholders to strengthen protection mechanisms.
Our focus is not only on responding to individual cases but also on creating protective environments and stronger child protection systems at the grassroots level, so that children can live safely, exercise their rights and realise their full potential.

Education
SEVA works to ensure that children from economically disadvantaged and vulnerable communities have equitable opportunities to access and continue education. Our interventions focus on reducing barriers that can prevent children from attending school and participating meaningfully in learning.
The focus includes supporting children with essential educational resources and assistance, while promoting regular school attendance and continued participation in education. SEVA also engages with parents, schools and local stakeholders to strengthen awareness about the importance of education and encourage families to support children’s learning.
Special attention is given to children from marginalised and vulnerable communities, with an emphasis on creating an enabling environment where children can remain in school, learn with dignity and pursue their educational aspirations.
Through collaboration with schools and local authorities, SEVA seeks to strengthen educational access, retention and continuity, ensuring that financial and resource-related challenges do not stand in the way of a child’s right to education.

Women Empowerment and Livelihood
SEVA works towards creating an environment where women are empowered, economically independent and able to make informed decisions about their lives and futures. Our interventions recognise women as active agents of change within their families and communities.

Climate Action
Our interventions include beach and river cleaning initiatives, environmental awareness campaigns, waste management and community-led conservation activities. These efforts aim to reduce pollution, protect aquatic ecosystems and encourage responsible behaviour towards the environment.

Disaster Management and Relief
SEVA works towards building prepared, resilient and responsive communities that are better equipped to prevent, withstand and recover from disasters and emergencies.
SEVA also supports communities affected by natural and human-induced disasters through immediate humanitarian assistance and relief efforts.
