Eye Screening Project-BMC School
Helping Children See a Brighter Future
In association with Vision Foundation of India, SEVA is implementing an ongoing Eye Screening Project for students studying in government schools under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Mumbai.
The project focuses on the early identification of vision problems among school-going children through systematic eye screening and assessment. Children identified with potential vision concerns are referred to eye hospital for further examination and treatment.
To ensure that financial barriers do not prevent children from accessing better vision, free spectacles are provided to children who require corrective glasses.
Through early screening, timely referral and access to free spectacles, the project aims to support children’s eye health and enable them to participate more effectively in their education and everyday life.
Our goal is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to see clearly, learn better and reach their full potential.
