Building Cleaner and Healthier Communities
SEVA has supported the Swachh Bharat Mission through awareness campaigns and sanitation planning in rural and urban communities across Maharashtra.
The initiative included community awareness campaigns promoting cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene and responsible waste management. SEVA also supported the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to help local bodies plan and strengthen sanitation and cleanliness interventions.
The work covered Gram Panchayats in rural areas of Palghar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna and Nandurbar districts, as well as urban local bodies in Parbhani.
Our goal is to support the creation of cleaner, healthier and more sustainable communities through informed citizens and stronger local sanitation planning.
